We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Analytics team to expand our Data Management and Artificial Intelligence division.
Role and responsibilities:
- Design and develop Data Management projects (based on Hadoop, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and related components and technologies) for relevant companies in the banking, insurance, aerospace and multi utility fields
- Design and develop prototypes to support pre-sales activities
- Support the development of technological solutions that can be used in different market domains
- Increase your skills through training courses and support of your peers and mentors, becoming a domain expert
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in economics or technical scientific disciplines (STEM area)
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Data modelling and Data architectures analysis skills
- Knowledge of the main Data Management, Data Platform and Cloud tools
- Knowledge of ETL tools for Data Ingestion
- Written and spoken proficiency in English
- Excellent management of project delivery times
- Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
Additional requirements:
- Dama certifications
- Cloudera and/or Hortonworks certifications
- Knowledge and/or interest in one or more programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.) in data analysis
